One of our most asked questions from customers is “How do I clean Engineered Stone products?”
You can clean our Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Engineered Stone products by applying any non-abrasive cleaner. A few examples of adequate cleaners are:
Windex
Scrubbing Bubbles
Clean Shower
Clorox Bathroom Cleaner with Bleach
Magic Countertop Cleaner
Simple Green
Gel-Gloss
Allow any of these cleaning products to set for a few minutes before wiping the surface dry using a non-abrasive rag, cloth, pad, or towel.
Cleaning our products mainly boils down to personal preferences and what types of cleaners you keep on hand. With the right cleaning and maintenance techniques, our products will retain their elegant appeal for decades. If the surface happens to be deeply scratched or chipped, contact our office to request a repair kit.
Another common question from customers is “How do I avoid discoloration?” As with most pigmented products, if the product is not exposed to natural light it can become discolored. An example of this would be if a soap dish or dispenser is left in the same position on your counter for an extended period of time. To avoid discoloration we recommend moving around the soap dish to different locations with each cleaning. If you have not taken that precaution and have experienced discoloration, the solution is to remove the soap dish from the spot and let the natural light hit the area. After a few weeks the color should return to normal.

I sent you a note about my sink discoloration and now see this. I will try moving the soap dish, etc. and see if the color returns. Peggy Budny
